Robert Kaufman Shetland FLANNEL herringbone in olive

These Shetland flannels from Robert Kaufman are AMAZING... they have the look of herringbone wool weave but are a 100% cotton flannel / brushed cotton. This flannel is double napped ( which means that it is soft (and squidgy)  on both sides) The weight is 6.5oz per square yard making it a great weight  for shirts, pjs and it would make the softest scrumpiest quilt. It is important to wash your flannel prior  to using due to shrinkage.

Flannel is a soft and fuzzy fabric made of cotton. Flannel fabric is thick and very durable. It feels cozy and warm in cold weather. The flannel fabric absorbs and releases perspiration, allowing it to breathe. This makes it a wonderful warm weather bedding material. Cotton flannel bed sheets, cotton flannel pajamas, flannel shirts and quilts can all be made from it. Please note that due to manufacturers regulations this flannel is not to be used in sleepwear for children of 12 or under.
