Sarah Watts - AUGUST Frolic stags head in charteuse

Sarah Watts' collection for cotton and steel is full of organic shapes and natural forms, gazelles, lions,  flower heads and scatterings of seeds.  A bold statement fabric print here with a  beautiful stags head - the movement in this fabric is lovely and I could imagine a beautiful set of cushions in this print. Scale wise  the length of the head including the antlers is 9cm.

On the selvedge edge of this collection it states "persistence prevails", an apt title for such a beautiful collection.

Cotton+Steel,is a new division of RJR Fabrics. This company of designers includes Melody Miller,Rashida Coleman-Hale, Alexia Abegg, Kim Kight, and Sarah Watts. As a young company, Cotton+Steel hopes to honor the traditions of creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation inherent in the sewing and quilting world.
