This is a very cute fabric with the contrasy of the pastels in the trees and the birds to the raindrops and the flowers with the bold chocolate brown stripes with the waves and the mint dots. Although this fabric is 100% cotton there is a slight stretch to it due to the fact of the way it is woven - it is almost woven like a mesh which is visable in the fabric. Scale wise the width of the chocolate stipes is 4cm  and the height of the trees is also 4cm

Am loving this and the cute animals on the train to ..... where? monkeys, bears, zebras, flamingos.... taking a small journey. Intermitantly there are rainclouds, birds, and cherries. Scale wise the height of the train carriages is approx 2cm (without the wheels)
